-
Environmental legislation
We will ensure that all company operations and activities comply with, or exceed all statutory environmental requirements.
-
Protection of our environment
We aim to improve our environmental performance and reduce environmental impact by adopting the principles of best practice and technology wherever possible. This shall be done with respect to:
-
Wise use of energy, water and other natural resources
We will conserve energy and other natural resources by adopting water and energy saving measures in the company’s building and reduce the amount of fuel used by vehicles on company business.
-
Wise use of materials for our use and manufacture
We will purchase goods and materials, wherever possible, that can be used and disposed of in an environmentally sustainable way. Aim to reduce the volume of paper used in the company and that we purchase paper and consumables that maximise recycling and minimise environmental damage throughout its whole life cycle.
-
Minimisation and safe disposal of waste
We will undertake to reduce the amount of waste produced by the company and provide opportunities and facilities to maximise the quantity that is recycled.
-
Avoidance of pollution
We will minimise and eliminate, wherever possible, the release of any pollutant that may cause environmental damage to air, water or land.
